Loading cattle onto a truck shouldn't be the moment your stock gets stressed and your crew gets hurt. A ramp that's too steep, too narrow, or the wrong height for the trailer is one of the most common causes of bruising, baulking, and injury at the yards. RPM Livestock Equipment builds cattle yard loading ramps to remove that risk, engineering each one from Australian steel so it holds up to daily stock work rather than just looking good in a catalogue.
The adjustable loading ramp is the standout of the range. Instead of forcing stock up a fixed slope that may not suit your truck or trailer, this 4-metre ramp lets you match the incline to the job using a unique gas strut that assists the floor adjustment - so ...
Instead of forcing stock up a fixed slope that may not suit your truck or trailer, this 4-metre ramp lets you match the incline to the job using a unique gas strut that assists the floor adjustment - so changing height doesn't mean wrestling with dead weight. It's built with a hardwood floor, a 115x42x2mm cattle rail, anti-slip treads, and a sheeted lower section to protect against push injuries, and it weighs in at 540kg. A walkway and handrail can be added as an option for extra operator safety.
If a fixed platform suits your setup better, the 4-metre Fixed Height Loading Ramp delivers the same consistent, stable loading surface every time, with matching hardwood flooring, anti-slip treads, and push-safe sheeting at 530kg. For larger operations moving stock from multiple angles, the Deluxe Loading Ramp stretches to 4.7 metres and adds wings and an extender for side loading, plus handrails and a walkway fitted to either the nearside or offside. Across every option, RPM's loading ramps are designed to work alongside the rest of your cattle yard equipment rather than as a standalone fix.
Build quality is where these ramps earn their keep. Every ramp uses the same 115x42x2mm cattle rail and anti-slip tread surface, and the optional walkway and handrail add a safety-conscious grip span plank floor that gives operators better access to the animal without stepping into the race. The Deluxe Ramp and the Walkway & Handrail option both comply with Australian standards, and the whole range carries the Australian Made mark - built locally, not imported and relabelled.
